미니말레 뢰스터리&커피바 (서울 서초구)

교대역 근처에 볼일이 있어서 오랜만에 갔다가, 커피 한 잔 먼저 하려고 간 카페. 10분 정도 앉아서 커피만 마시고 나왔다.

지난 6~7년 사이에 한국 커피가 엄청 질이 좋아져서, 웬만해서는 실패가 없다. 여기도 별 생각 없이 들어갔는데 괜찮았다.

영업시간은 월~금 08:00-20:00, 주말 09:30-18:30인 모양.

내부 분위기는 위 사진과 같다. 화장실은 안에 있고, 간단한 디저트도 팔았다.

정작 커피 사진은 한 모금 마시고 나서 찍었다. 아메리카노. 밸런스 블렌딩. 적당한 과일 산미에, 나쁘지 않았다. 밸런스 잡힌 맛.

원두도 팔던데, 원두도 무난하게 좋은 품질을 쓰는 듯하다. 이 정도 가격에 이 정도 품질이면 가성비가 좋은 듯.

당연히 오래 앉아 있기에는 어려운 분위기. 이런 곳에 오래 앉아 있는 것도 예의가 아니긴 하다. 어차피 나는 약속이 급해서 10분 만에 후다닥 마시고 나왔다.

I had somewhere to be near Seoul National University of Education Station, an area I hadn’t been to in a long time. I wanted a cup of coffee first, so I stopped at this café. I sat down for about ten minutes, just had a coffee, and left.

The coffee scene in Korea has improved enormously over the past six or seven years, so these days you rarely end up disappointed by a café. I walked into this one without giving it much thought, and it turned out to be good.

According to the sign on the door, it’s open 08:00-20:00 on weekdays and 09:30-18:30 on weekends.

The coffee is inexpensive, and you can pay with Apple Pay.

The interior is as you can see in the photos above. The restroom is inside the café, and they also had a few simple desserts.

Funnily enough, I didn’t take a photo of the coffee itself until I’d already had a sip. It was an americano made with the Balance blend. It had a moderate fruity acidity and wasn’t bad at all. A well-balanced cup.

They sell whole beans too, and the beans seem to be of reliably good quality as well. Overall, quality like that at this price is a great deal.

It’s a place where sitting for long is difficult. The seats aren’t comfortable, and there aren’t many of them. Not that it would be polite to occupy a seat for long in a place like that. Either way, I had to be somewhere soon, so I gulped my coffee down in about ten minutes and left.
